What this policy covers

This policy describes the website for Hook Fish & Chicken at 5000 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237. Ordering and payment take place on ChowNow’s separate service.

Hiring applications

The application asks for your full name, email address, and phone number. You must provide either a comment or an optional PDF résumé. We use these details to review your application, consider your qualifications, and contact you about hiring.

Netlify processes and stores form submissions and uploaded résumés. Submission records can include technical information such as an IP address, browser information, and referring page. Application notifications are configured to go to two restaurant-designated email recipients. Only the restaurant owner and managers responsible for hiring are authorized to review applications and résumés. This restriction also applies to application notifications, downloads, and exported copies. Netlify and email providers process the information to provide their services; uploaded résumé URLs have the access limitation described below.

Uploaded résumés have direct file URLs that may be accessible to anyone who obtains the URL. Please do not include Social Security numbers, banking details, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information in your application.

Deletion and retention

For privacy questions or to request deletion of an application or an uploaded résumé, call 513-242-5888. This is a call-only contact; please do not send text messages. Provide the name and email used in your application so we can locate it; do not send identity documents. We will review requests subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations and legal holds.

We retain hiring records for the applicable legally required period and any legal hold. We will not retain unsuccessful applications for use in future openings without the applicant’s permission. Keeping a record because the law requires it is separate from using it for future recruitment.

Deletion is manual; this website does not automatically delete applications. Once required retention and any legal hold end, the owner or a hiring manager will delete the Netlify submission and address any uploaded résumé, remove notification emails and restaurant-held downloads or exports, and check that any résumé URL no longer serves the file. Netlify assistance may be needed if a hosted file remains accessible. Dashboard deletion alone does not remove inbox or downloaded copies; provider caches and backups may follow separate processes.

Hosting, cookies, and analytics

Netlify hosts this website and handles application submissions and spam filtering. Hosting requests may involve technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. See Netlify’s privacy policy for its own practices.

The inspected website does not set application cookies, use browser storage, or load analytics or advertising scripts. No Netlify analytics instance or injected tracking snippets were detected. This statement concerns our website; external services have their own practices.

Ordering and external links

The Order Online buttons take you to ChowNow. Customers select items, complete checkout, and pay through ChowNow. This website does not collect payment-card details or provide a cart. ChowNow handles information under its privacy policy and terms of service; it may share order information with the restaurant to fulfill orders. Directions links open Google Maps, a separate service.

There is no marketing subscription form on this website.
